Mural #1 WELCOME TO CAROLINA BEACH

The inspiration for Mural #1 Welcome to Carolina Beach is a vintage postcard that invokes all the good feels of arriving at the beach for vacation. Our Board member and resident Artist, Susan Nuttall, updated the postcard to better reflect today's Carolina Beach visitors. The billboard  measures 8' x 16' and is installed on posts. so it can easily be seen as one drives by N. Lake Park Blvd on the way to the beach. 

This was a 100% volunteer project and all labor and materials were donated to CBMP. Susan sketched the outline of the mural. We invited local residents and artists to paint this first mural. Over 50 people between the ages of 5 and 87 contributed to the painting of the mural. Check the back of the mural for signatures of everyone involved. Local builders donated all the materials and installed the mural for us. It is truly a community mural!

The Welcome to Carolina Beach mural is located at 1121 N. Lake Park Blvd  N. Lake Park Boulevard in front of Town Hall.
