If you applied as an Artist for Boards Across CB, you agreed to the following:
- Design must visually celebrate the Carolina Beach vibe (culture, history, flora/fauna, etc.) Your actual design should not deviate too far from the sketch you submitted.
- Board can be oriented either vertically or horizontally.
- No limitations on materials used.
- You will return the board to designated drop off in Carolina Beach for display by November 10, 2022.
- You will share photos of "work in process" so CBMP can post on social leading up to Board Art Exhibit launch in November. Please tag #boardsacrossCB @carolina_beach_murals and/or send photos to info@carolinabeachmurals.org
- You will share link to the Boards Across CB project on your social channels to gain a bigger audience (and more bids) for your work. #boardsacrosscb @carolina_beach_murals
- Throughout the winter, CBMP will host events to encourage traffic to all businesses that have a board on display (scavenger hunts, contests, etc.).
- Auction site used will be https://www.zgive.com/
- You will work closely with CBMP on determining your opening bid price as we want you to secure lots of bids and be successful.
- You may provide a bio and a photo to be included on the online auction site
- A final day of auction reception will be planned in February. You will be invited to attend and meet with potential clients. More details to come.
- At the end of the auction, you will be paid 50% of the final winning bid for your board (once winner's payment is confirmed).
CBMP will cover all auction costs and marketing materials. CBMP will be responsible for mounting /display. purchasing the hardware, making stands, and hiring a professional to hang them.

About COPYRIGHTS
Since under law, the artist retains the copyright to the Board and the final design, the final rendering remains the property of the ARTIST. CBMP retains complete rights to copy the rendering, and to display, loan, sell, or otherwise use the copies of the rendering on merchandise as it sees fit with no further compensation to the Artist.
The Artist shall retain all rights under the Copyright Act of 1976 (17 U.S.C. 101 et seq.) and all rights in and to the Art on the Board except ownership and possession except as such rights are limited by the above statement. The Artist shall not make any exact duplicate reproductions of the final Board Art, nor shall the Artist grant permission to others to do so except with the written permission of CBMP. The Artist grants to CBMP and assigns it an irrevocable license to use the Board for promotional and advertising purposes, including but not limited to reproductions used in advertising, brochures, media publicity, booklets, or other publications provided that these rights are exercised in a tasteful and professional manner.
